Obama has at least restored some faith across the world in our form of Government by bringing an end to torture and illegal practices in our Secret Gestapo Community. Evidently you don't know the difference between World Leader, and World Thug.

Obama will be remembered for being at the forefront of leading this Country to recovery, in spite of those who believe a Black Man should have never been President, which includes the GOP, who has spent all their time waging war against him, rather than doing their jobs. Our "Role" in the World during the 8 Bush years is nothing to brag about or be proud of, if you believe America is a Leader in World affairs.

You can't argue with facts.
"You can't argue with facts"

Then give us some, NOT your "I love Obama and hate Bush" rant.

A loud population of (mostly white) people won't like him because he's a black, Democrat president. Nothing he could do would change their minds. Those people are entitled to their opinions, but they'll say he's awful just because. He'll get blamed for structural shortcomings in our nation that started long before he took office. I also think that people are so drawn into this failure mindset, that they don't realize how things have improved economically. If you're expecting a return to the 50's or the 1990's tech bubble, it probably won't happen.
When all you have is the RACE card, you have nothing of value to add to the discussion.

Then, in all their wisdom, the voters put the Dems in charge of both the House and Senate in 1996 after the first 6 years of Bush not having a filabuster-proof Senate so that neither he nor the Republicans in the Senate could do what was right. For the umpteenth time Bush send directives down to the Senate to "fix" Fannie Mae, Freddy Mac and the mortgage mess and Dems blocked it. The last 2 years of the Bush administration with Reid and Pelosi in charge of Congress are what caused the crash...not the Bush administration. Take the time to study the facts.

Study the mess Reagan inherited from the Carter disaster and how he "fixed" it.

As has been stated again and again, Reid shut down the government...not the GOP.

The only way the Middle Class will prosper is if business/corporations prosper. You want to blame someone for Business going out of this country...aside from horrible government regulation...blame unions that drive the cost of business to the point where business in America cannot compete against foreign business whose products are being imported.

Two things that ALL Democratic candidates were/are aware of came out of the 2008 election:

1) A Democrat was a shoo in. It was not just that McCain/Palin were such awful candidates, it's that the President they were running to replace was historically awful, on a level not seen in anyone's lifetime.

2) Following up the Bush legacy, and the disaster any candidate would inherit, was going to insure that the candidate elected in 2008 would be judged far unlike George Walker Bush, who stepped into an economy and budget deficit in excellent condition and royally screwed it up 8 years later.

Pres. Obama will be viewed very favorably, already is by thinking Americans and almost the entire planet.

Extremist conservatives, low information voters, (nice euphemism) racists, bigots, and others who vehemently oppose this President based on FOX News talking points are not worthy of consideration anyway. This man will be viewed favorably, and his favorability will grow after he leaves office, and the extent of his accomplishment become even more apparent over time.

And he has also made quite a few mistakes, and it seems every one of these mistakes was meant to pacify the extreme rightwing in this country (domestic spying, war in Afghanistan, clampdown on journalistic freedom, etc., etc.)

Facts are facts, which you clearly have trouble arguing.

Don't you wish...I don't "argue." I just state truth based on understanding our US Constitution and having a lot of experience in the political world including international politics.

You continue to call your replies, 'facts'.

Sorry to inform you, but what you have written, is your 'opinion', not the 'facts'.

Fact is, Obummer will be viewed poorly. He is already the worst POTUS in history, he has taken 1st place in that, placing Carter as number 2. AND THAT IS A FACT.

He is a Wimp who has the entire planet now thinking that America is Weak.
So, what planet are you visiting from?
