Those people are entitled to their opinions, but they'll say he's awful just because. He'll get blamed for structural shortcomings in our nation that started long before he took office. He has done a good job, considering what he was left with, and the lack of participation by the GOP because they would not accept a Black President. Of course they will say its not about race, but about his policies, yet they started right in before he had any policies at all, and a lot of those policies where ones they had pushed in previous years.

some folks don't like how long its taking to bring back the economy, but fail to realize that the previous Administration had given Carte Blanch to Corporations exporting jobs and American wealth. Not to mention giving Wall Street the ability to cheat, swindle, and steal, with little or no oversight.

It tickles me to see the people vote in a GOP Majority in both houses, and maybe a Republican President, so these same folks can see Bush Years revisited, and can whine about the rich getting richer a lot faster. Might shake them out of this Dream they have, that the GOP is going to fight for the Middle Class. Like they did when they shut down the Government, in a tizzy, and cost the Middle Class 3 Billion Dollars in income. Yep, the good old days. How soon people forget...

You must be black to be so damned obsessed with race. Not to mention you're delusional in your creepy love of this half white boy king. Meanwhile, welcome to ignore.

Make a deal with you. If you can get even your name on the Presidential Ballot, I will consider what you say as a serious opinion and not just heckling from the cheap seats in the Right Wing balcony.
What were we thinking!?

BO Care passed by only 1 vote in the Senate and that vote was cast by a Dem who turned Republican when that party was winning and was "bought" back to being a Dem through bribery of "we will give you a committee chair" and only God know what else to get his vote for BO Care, plus all the Dems also "bought" by nefarious and disgusting promises of personal gain. Not one single Republican voted for this disastrous mess and the general citizen population were over 70% against it.

The Republicans DID NOT shut down the government. Harry Reid shut it down by not bringing the budget forth within the Senate that was passed by the House.

Get your facts straight.

Bull S**t! I'm white and I not only don't like him, I find him the worst person to ever occupy the position of President of the United States...has nothing to do with his color. I find FDRosevelt to be the second worst and he was white.

What in the world has this idiot done right? How many times has he broken the Constitution with his arrogant and stupid "do it my way or else?" As far as "how things have improved economically"...there is no improvement. The figures coming out of DC are bogus. It would take a book to list all the lies and spins based on crap figures that do not tell the truth. Business is surviving "in spite of," not "because of" this idiot and his total ignorance of every aspect of the free economy. The Dems/Harry Reid have to take part of the blame (especially Harry Reid) for enabling this "empty suit" to get away with basically treading on the line of traitor to America. Business will always find a way to survive the total ignorance of government interference. Remember, business will make a profit or go out of business and all government-imposed cost to business is passed on to the consumer. Middle class (who have the $'s they earn to spend) are the ones who pay the bill...not business. Actually, if there were no income tax on business, the Middle Class would be the benificiary in that all the costs of every business "up the line" could eliminate many accounting, attorney and other costs of having to keep track of paying the government income tax. What do you think drives them over seas? Government regulation, IRS and unions!

How many people are now on welfare/food stamps and all the rest of government give aways? How many people live off of those who work and the taxes that are taken out of thos worker's pay checks are "given" to those who don't and/or will not work? How many illegals are working people supporting?

Oh, and how many of the new measles breakout have come from all those illegal kids Obama spread across the country? What other diseases do illegals bring into this country? I won't even mention the criminals, terrorists and the masses that bring American down faster and faster to a 3rd-world country standard.

Yeah! Great legacy...NOT!

Default It could have been worst. Isn't an answer.

The President was handed an America that was in dour straits. But it seems to me that instead of being a good steward of "us" he used the looming disaster to push for a progressive agenda much like Bush used "terrorism" as a reason and answer for everything he did.

That being said, the Histories defining Obama's legacy are probably going to written by bat **** southern republicans and ivory tower ivy leaguers.

Eventually, far in the future, there will be a consensus among writers which will even things out.

Looking back, my guess, after mentioning that Obama was the first black president, histories will note that during his terms in office federal spending, the budgets deficits, and national debt were all the highest since World War II. Long term employment was the highest since the 1930's. Home owner was at 1965 numbers with millions of home owners financially ruined. Less than one-half the US population paid income taxes and about one in two Americans received some government dispensed income or entitlement. And then state that President Obama did not turn those numbers around.

Yes..."pushed in previous years." Are you forgetting that our economy was going down into the tank at the end of Clinton's term? Remember the .com bust? President Bush inherited that mess and our economy came back even with the disaster of 9/11. Then, in all their wisdom, the voters put the Dems in charge of both the House and Senate in 1996 after the first 6 years of Bush not having a filabuster-proof Senate so that neither he nor the Republicans in the Senate could do what was right. For the umpteenth time Bush send directives down to the Senate to "fix" Fannie Mae, Freddy Mac and the mortgage mess and Dems blocked it. The last 2 years of the Bush administration with Reid and Pelosi in charge of Congress are what caused the crash...not the Bush administration. Take the time to study the facts.

Study the mess Reagan inherited from the Carter disaster and how he "fixed" it.

As has been stated again and again, Reid shut down the government...not the GOP.

The only way the Middle Class will prosper is if business/corporations prosper. You want to blame someone for Business going out of this country...aside from horrible government regulation...blame unions that drive the cost of business to the point where business in America cannot compete against foreign business whose products are being imported.
