This thread needs to be bumped. So that's what I'm doing

Kudos to Senator Sessions! We need more like him in office. Senator Grassley is also good when it comes to this issue.

What Southern California Edison did was beyond despicable.

I said it before and I'll say it again --- the H1-B visa program needs to be abolished as it is ridden with fraud and corruption.

I just saw a report on this, 500 employees getting the axe, so they can hire 500 foreigners on H1-Bs to take their place. And 0bama is bragging about this as a good thing.

When will people wake up to the fact that 0bama's policies are harming Americans in the middle class, while making the wealthy even wealthier. We are in the middle of a redistribution of wealth, with a fifty year high in US poverty, and the 0bama sycophants are blind to it, and even making excuses for it. "O-bam-uh, O-bam-uh, O-bam-uh!!!" /swoon

Obama needs to stop listening to business folks who are trying to undercut American wages, and start paying attention to what the H1-B program really does. It costs Americans jobs and training. It lowers pay for those in the high tech industry, reducing the desirability of learning STEM.

His immigration reform increases the number of H1-B visas quite a bit.

You are referring to the senate bill that passed with 68 votes (14 of which were republicans) ?

Odd isn't it that the left claims that Republicans are the party for the rich? Well under Obama's policies I guess he is to then when he brags about replacing Americans with cheap H1-B foreign workers and giving a stay of deportation to millions of illegal aliens with work permits to make the rich richer.
