Stop it please. 30 feet is a conservative estimate.Several people said it was more than that. But to be accurate, I should have specified that the final shot to the head was fired 8 to 10 feet away. That makes it justifiable, now doesn't it ?

Just some hours ago, the police in WA state chased on foot a man who had thrown rocks at them. He ran then raised his hands, tried to surrender, before being killed with several shots :
A few years ago, the police in WA state killed a native american man crossing the street minding his own business. He was carving wood with a pocket knife when an officer told him to put the knife down. The officer then shot him several times. He said the man looked at him angrily and made a grunt noise (like M.Brown).

It's very very irritating when punks walk down the center of the street thinking their ambivalence to people just trying to drive by makes them cool.
They needed someone to tell them to get on the f'n sidewalk.

I see no problem with a cop telling someone who is fighting them and going for their gun that they are going to get shot.

You may want to watch the video, because at the end when he turned toward them, that is when they fired. They did not shoot him when he was running away with his hands up.
