Tax cuts result in more revenue to the Federal coffers, not less. Always have. Democrats will never learn.

One reason is higher tax rates result in more activities to shelter income, put off paying taxes for future years when overall income is less.

There are many other reasons as well. This has been proven over and over again.
As you parrot GOP talking points, yet the cuts do not seem to cover revenue needed, see the results of Kansas and NC and their tax cuts. The end of the Bush tax cut which both parties agreed on has slowed down the budget deficit. The GOP is not fiscal conservative.

Do you mean to say a liberal poster distorted the facts to push their OWN agenda? Can't be, just can't be!

And having enough to pay your bills applies both at the micro- and macro-level. There is no way to achieve the goals of fiscal conservatism without first achieving the Fed dual mandate of maximum employment at fair rates of compensation and price stability. The refusal of the Republicans to place priorities where they belong reflect innate self-centered egoism that must therefore prevail in the party's power structure. It almost seems like they're simply waiting for the chance to put forward measures that can move their agenda forward regardless of how immoral those measures are vis a vis their effect. What's next? Slavery or the death penalty for being poor? That's the way right-wing rhetoric is trending.
"weak-minded sycophants"

Lower tax rates stimulate more economic activity, growth in business, more jobs, which means more tax payers.

There are many other reasons as well. This has been proven over and over again.
They are the true "deniers"

Whats even funnier is this is a tax policy right out of the Stimulas package. It was to be short term. I guess there are some good parts to the O Stimulas bill that the GOP likes.

"As you parrot GOP talking points"

Pot meet kettle. All YOU have done in every post is parrot DEM talking points.

Living in NC and watching as GOP tax cuts hurt the state. Increase Real Estate taxes and give raises without the revenue to support them.

It I am not mistaken these cuts are for writing off business related equipment purchases. I am ok with that kind of 'cut'. Besides, both parties have already approved these measures, and they are in effect as we speak, but they are temporary. They just want to make it permanent.

Carry on sergeant!

The true meaning in the article shows up. Both sides want their shot at tax reform. The Dems what one bill to cover the whole thing. The GOP want to be able to pick and take in funds from the people who pay their election bills.
