Who is Roy Moore? Alabama's Ten Commandments Judge takes on same-sex marriage | AL.com

Quote: "It's good for everybody to wait until the final arbiter of the dispute decides," Moore said. "Why are we fighting, or are we fighting over nothing?"

"This is not about racial segregation, this is not a schoolhouse and I'm not George Wallace," he said. "I'm standing up for the law and the relationship we have to the law."

He has long rejected the comparison to Wallace, who he says stood against the law instead of with it.

Which is why judges should NEVER be elected. To do so puts them at the mercy of ignorance, and in doing so, they think they're God.

The idiot is using his own personal beliefs to follow an outdated law. I hope he gets thrown out for this.

And Moore will get smacked down by the feds again.

Just look at what is happening, judges are allowing same sex marriages all over the state despite what old Roy has to say.

For once we agree. Alabama and Justice Moore are a great example. It's downright shameful that Alabama keeps electing the disgrace that is Roy Moore back to their Supreme Court.
