Exactly. A bunch of political sabre rattling by Obama haters.
You go fight ISIS, or send YOUR kids.
I support a complete withdrawal of the US from all ME affairs. We provide our own energy and stop supporting anyone there. Let them sort their own problems out, eventually the people there will tire of living in the 14th century.
If we can get the U S trained Iraqi"s to not throw down their weapons and run there could be a 3 prong attack on ISIS. The U S should sell them military equipment and let them destroy ISIS themselves. With the wind on their backs other nations will join in.
I do think the U S should not dither on selling military weapons to Jordan, the king might not want to wait and Putin and the Russians will be right there.

The U.S. spent years training and supplying the Iraqi Military. When the bad guys came, they shed their uniforms and hid.
How many of those trained and supplied by the U.S. were or became ISIS?

On an annualized basis, the Iraq War cost us $ 1 Trillion a year, each year , when interest on debt and Veteran services are factored into the cost. Every cent was deficit spent.
According to the Pentagon, the limited airstrikes that occured between August and mid December, 2014 were running about $8.1 million a day. I have not seen reports of the cost over the past 2 months which will be substantially higher.
The U.S. Military has never been able to account for the spend.

Yeah, but that was OK because it was GOP spending.
They only object strenuously when someone proposes spending taxpayer dollars to benefit taxpayers, as in infrastructure projects.
