You may want to consider what other nation pressed US merchant sailors into service. Keywords: "press gang", "HMS Leopard" and "War of 1812".

Ummmm, tell us, how did slaves contribute to the founding of this country? Which ones helped write the DI? How about the BOR? The Constitution? Sure some fought in the Revolutionary war, but were are talking about the founding of the country and how Muslims are woven into the founding fabric. It's not true.
