Jeff Zucker Claims CNN's Perpetuation of False Ferguson Narrative Helped Reestablish Network's Trust* - Breitbart

First time I ever heard a news person saying "if we lie to you it helps you to trust us." At least, not out loud.

There were a ton of lies being thrown around in Ferguson.

CNN got called out very early on for one of their lies, and before things calmed down after the 1st week, CNN wasn't even allowed around the action. The protesters literally shut them down.

The other biggest lie of 2014 was that BlackLivesMatter was leading the charge. They were a media propped and probably politically connected stunt group and currently they're being called out by all of Ferguson, the black community, and the gay community.

I think the majors are losing the edge on being the only source of news out there. A lot of young people don't watch network news.

Creating a false narrative in order to fan racial tensions is the bread and butter of the mainstream media. Lying is such a way of life for these guys, that they can't even keep facts straight in their own personal lives. Just ask Brian Williams.

And... The "false narrative" was what? And why should I listen when Breitbart.com, the exact same site that we know has repeatedly stated falsehoods, says something about CNN?

The "Hands up, Don't shoot" activism is a false narrative, and even CNN acknowledged it was so.
