Look at the current ISIS threads. Some have noted that this is what would happen. It's one thing to have a success. It's quite another to maintain and hold that success especially when (as noted above) they are not widely supported.
We have no reason to declare war on them and help their recruitment.
If they can be defeated with US air support and local boots on the ground, then it is an ideal situation for all. Actually that was what US was hoping for from day 1.

"Aid". LOL. It was money, for the most part, for the US and allies to use roads to get military equipment into Afghanistan. Don't you recall when Pakistan closed the roads and military trucks with supplies were backed up for miles? The rest of it went to whoever was the president of Pakistan.

These woman are to be applauded. They most likely understand they would rather die then fall into ISIS treatment of woman. Any soldier who is less scared of death then being defeated are true warriors
Obama has it all wrong. He thinks we need to provide jobs and economic opportunities to third world muslim countries in order to reduce the "radical" threat. What Obama is not smart enough (or doesn't care about as he sympathizes) is that this is a muslim religious problem. These radicals are not just all crazy nuts, they are fundamentalist ISLAMIC fanatics, who believe in the literal interpretation of the Koran, in that it's perfectly just to put the non-believers "to the sword" and conquer the world in the name of their prophet. These are Islamic religious zealots, many, such as Bin Laden, from wealthy famlies. It's not about jobs and the like. Obama says we don't want to lend credence to these terrorists that they represent a religion. What he misses is that those that ISIS and AQ are recruiting don't care about what Obama thinks - they are buying into this radical Islam and joining these groups, so in essence, we do indeed have a religious war on our hands, against radical muslims, and denying this does not help the situation. What helps is to destroy these SOB monsters before they gain enough strength to pose a threat to world security - and they are half way there now.
Have you read the Koran? Because no where in the Koran does it say anything about burning people alive or killing Muslims from another sect, or killing those within their own sect, just for the sake of killing. They are using the Koran and putting their own spin on their interpretation as an excuse for their extremism and barbarism.
Sensible Muslims understand that the Koran was written for the times, and understand that there is very little that applied then that does not apply now in the 21st Century. But there is no helping people who are full of hatred for ALL Muslims to try to get them to understand this and that 1.6 billion Muslims in the world are not ALL extremists/terrorists.
