Is the ultimate goal of conservatives and libertarians to replace our elected government with plutocracy fronted by a military dictatorship? Even if that's not the idea, if they got the things they've been asking for the past 35 years it would definitely be how it turned out.

Let's see, Obamas net worth is $12.2 million, wall street loves him and he disregards the constitution to suit his idealogy. Yep, that's a plutocracy.

Isn't that what happened in Chile? It's no secret that we opposed Allende, and he was replaced by Pinochet, a military dictator.

Why not? Rich people have all the money to buy what they want from government, so millionaires can become billionaires faster than ever.

Obama's a conservative/libertarian? Is your brain stuck on Obama?

Obama is a conservative, libertarian, liberal, etc. It just depends on what's politically advantageous for him that day. I know it's difficult for you, but do try to keep up.

Yep. Explains their love for Vladimir Putin, Cliven Bundy, and their treasonous affection for Bibi Netanyahu.

Don't like that? Think it's absurd? If it's ridiculous saying that about the left wing, then don't do it to the right wing.

Sigh. What nonsense. No. Right wingers/conservatives do not generally want a plutocracy, they love capitalism, and democracy. Heck *I* love both of them as well-we might differ on some of the details, but both me and most right wingers, and conservatives will talk about our love of democracy. Trying to claim otherwise is just a way to besmirch people you disagree with.

Right and left folks disagree about the specifics, not the generalities.

Now....are both the left and the right often manipulated? Oh yeah.....The politicians especially are co-opted. Money is hard to say no too. It gets you elected, keeps you in office, and its pretty nice to have. Other people....well they believe in propaganda and what they are told. We're ending up with a plutocracy as a failure of democracy, NOT because conservatives want one.
