Most Somalis are law-abiding and decent people. Many have started businesses in Minnesota and they definitely value education, the problem is, when you bring such huge amount of refugees to an area, you will obviously bring also a lot of bad apples and criminals, Minnesota shouldnt have allowed so many Somalis to come without knowing first how they would adapt to life here.
Somali refugees began arriving in the US 30 years ago. It's a UN thing.
In the 90's, Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Charities in Minnesota did the reach out thing. Most found employment in chicken processing plants. Reportedly there are serious hundreds of Somali- American- owned businesses in Minnesota.
Immigrants and refugees have always tend to settle into their own ethnic communities.
Blame our Feds. From what I understand, the State Dept ultimately decides where they go.That coupled with the brain-dead LEFTIST Churches that long ago abandoned real Christianity, all took part in this act of treason. Some have speculated that it was "punishment" (it peaked in the Obama years) for electing Michelle Bachmann.

I cannot imagine why anyone would seek to dignify terrorists by calling Islam or Muslims the enemy.
Unfortunately, Undisputedly the horrible acts committed by radical Muslims have had a big impact. You cannot blame others for questioning Muslim religion and Muslim people.
It is an unfortunate situation, but we are all humans subject to human emotions. When radicals threaten attack malls, people will question if Muslim religion is a religion of peace. There will never be any solution.
You seem to not even understand who the Enemy is. The Mall of America SHOULD take the threat seriously, that is why they should not waste their time focusing on Islam, but instead, Radical Terrorists.

And FWIW, just about every legit Muslim Group has renounced ISIS, AL Shabab and all the other radical groups. Jordan and Egypt (amongst others) are dropping bombs on them. How much more of a statement do you want them to make?
The pope is the leader of the largest Christian denomination, The Roman Catholic Church. The pope does not represent all Christians. There is no equivelent of the pope in Islam and like all Abrahamic religions, it has endless sects.
You do not understand Islam. Our involvement has nothing to do with it. They are following what their religion tells them to do, and that is to "kill the infidel."
If we "let the Middle East handle" it [the issue], all of Europe would become slaves to Islam, Judaism and Christianity would be wiped out (as they are already doing), Israel would be wiped out (as they intend) and they would be on their way to the U.S. (they are already here, and they are here to make America an Islamic state).
That's why we must fight them on their turf.

A Somalian terrorist cell put out a video calling for attacks on malls in Canada, the UK and US. I don't believe a specific mall was cited.
The Mall of America in Minnesota is the largest in the US.
