The Mall of America in Minnesota is the largest in the US.
According to CBS the Mall of America was mentioned specifically, as was a mall in Canada.

Somali refugees began arriving in the US 30 years ago. It's a UN thing.

In the 90's, Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Charities in Minnesota did the reach out thing. Most found employment in chicken processing plants. Reportedly there are serious hundreds of Somali- American- owned businesses in Minnesota.

Immigrants and refugees have always tend to settle into their own ethnic communities.

Refugees are free to settle anywhere in the US.

There is an awful lot of propaganda in your comments, not so much actual substance.

Not a huge fan of Obama but not a rabid hater of him either. I've heard the president acknowledge who the enemy is, the rabid haters just don't like what he says, they want him to say all Muslims are terrorists and future terrorists.

Ignore those strikes we've been waging, They don't really matter, if Obama would use the word Muslim terrorist all will be well, that'll really scare them right into submission. Sigh
In mid January, the Pentagon announced the US had been responsible for 60% of the 9500 bombings since it began in August. Some conservative TV and radio entertainers ignore the facts and instead perpetuate the perception that Obama has done nothing.

There seems to be a fantasy that the U.S. should/ can eliminate global terrorism in a matter of weeks.

I cannot imagine why anyone would seek to dignify terrorists by calling Islam or Muslims the enemy.

Unfortunately, Undisputedly the horrible acts committed by radical Muslims have had a big impact. You cannot blame others for questioning Muslim religion and Muslim people.

It is an unfortunate situation, but we are all humans subject to human emotions. When radicals threaten attack malls, people will question if Muslim religion is a religion of peace. There will never be any solution.

Your ignorance used to offend me, now it scares me. Fight the enemy, don't engage a whole new enemy.

And FWIW, just about every legit Muslim Group has renounced ISIS, AL Shabab and all the other radical groups. Jordan and Egypt (amongst others) are dropping bombs on them. How much more of a statement do you want them to make?
The pope is the leader of the largest Christian denomination, The Roman Catholic Church. The pope does not represent all Christians. There is no equivelent of the pope in Islam and like all Abrahamic religions, it has endless sects.

No; they were attacked first. The lesson is do not start what you can't win in war.

That's why we must fight them on their turf.
Where is this turf?

The majority of the world's Muslims do not live in the middle east.

Islam is the majority religion of 50 countries.

BTW, the largest consentration of Muslims in Europe is in Russia.

It's been all over the news this morning. Jeh Johnson, Obamas head of HLS has been saying it through multiple news sources.
