Your city is not the entire state nor does it represent the entire state. hospitals fail for two main reasons. One is when they have too many people without insurance in their area and causes them to run in the red. A hospital can only write off so much before going under. The second is when the state account for reimbursements runs dry. The state of Texas has to put up 40% of Medicaid reimbursements (which is budgeted) and thus anything over that budget goes unpaid, then Hospitals/doctors don't get paid.

It was sarcasm, directed towards those who rant against having any health care insurance, and then finding themselves sick, which is inevitable for all of us, and then passing on the bill to people who work and pay taxes, like myself. And I saw my employer covered healthcare premiums double in 2015, versus what I paid on 2014.

And believe me, I still consider myself lucky. I think the Sheriff, and those who don't have health insurance, are either stupid or irresponsible. But to protest health against having health insurance, and then going online to beg for donations?

Well, that's a special kind of stupid.

I'm talking about this. You are speaking for another poster when you say it was sarcasm. Can the poster not speak for him or herself?

Of course they don't. They are elitists.

Not when the moral high ground is not in dispute.

No one's laughing at this retard merely stating fact that what 'goes around comes around'. RWNJ's need that lesson repeated more often than others it would seem.

Sure they do. It was long overdue. There would be no Government in it, if the Health Coverage Corporations did not cheat and steal, like common thieves. People dying because they had pre existing conditions, and can't get insurance, people having their insurance dropped because they had to use it, and on and on. Its good that Government did get into it.

The Healthcare business was nothing but a legalized racket made of people living off the public. Government should regulate everything they touch.
