"Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages"
"Imagine a future historian examining Obama’s pre-presidential life. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world’s largest economy, direct the world’s most powerful military, execute the world’s most consequential job?"

Well, everyone was sick of Bush, doing nothing, and now they're electing another do nothing Bush, makes a lot of sense doesn't it.
the fact that Obama was elected was, that people were hungry for change, and he kept stating, that he was THAT change....and he lied.....
of course, he really didn't as we indeed saw an awful lot of change under his watch, but it surely wasn't the right kind....
Bravo for Newsweek...must have been really hard for them to admit and do, but finally people are waking up....
and a while back, Obama himself thru the media under the bus, I forget what it was about, but that is something Presidents don't do....and get away with.....you don't mess with the media.
