After all, the HARDCORE orthodox Jews in Israel, who are multiplying faster even than the Palestinians, are just about as politico-religiously out there as the Ayatollahs, and will have waaaaaaaaay more seats in the Knesset in 20 or 30 years.

Maybe Israel should not have nuclear weapons but they already do so should or should not is irrelevant. Like all fanatics the Zionists believe they are implementing God's Will so they will do whatever they please. So will the Persians.

The US has the bomb, so does Russia and China. Why shouldn't Israel have the ability to defend itself, particularly with the possibility that Iran, the Islamic State and other natural enemies will be similarly armed? I wouldn't be surprised if they had other weapons in the works or maybe even already operational that make a run of the mill H-bomb look like pea shooter.

Israel has the bomb. Like everything other country that has the bomb, it has never wanted to see anyone else get the bomb.

That might be true if I didn't called anti-Semitic for thinking the Israeli government is bastards like every 5 minutes.
It has a policy of ambiguity in relation to its nuclear arsenal, neither confirming nor denying its existence. As a result, there is little public information or debate about it.
Besides, why should Israel not have Nukes ? I trust em enough not to worry about em nuking me
