[this guy is a doctor??]
The prison population is an example of people who do not have control over their base desires, they act like animals, unable to repress their urges. So naturally they will do what it takes to alleviate their sexual urges, even if that means changing sexuality (like my dog who humps a stuffed bear).

So you did not date, did not know of people that had crushes on other kids, fictional character or movie stars, knew no other kids that dated, and had no idea that anyone was romantically or sexually active? Where did you go to school?

Or, do you just mean you didn't know any gay kids...

Is it really a choice if you have no other options? And why would a supposedly heterosexual person choose homosexuality outside of prison?

Why would someone choose to be gay?

Why does a person choose to wear leather and get tied up? Or to go to a furry convention? Sexuality is complex.

This is a puzzling statement.

What sort of documentary evidence would you like?

If someone says they were once gay, but are not now, who is anyone to dispute that?

Sexual orientation is self assigned, meaning people chose the words they want to describe their orientation and no one has the right to assign any other words to it.

As to talking about something you know nothing about, a quick glance in the mirror wouldn't hurt.

Those are all behaviors. Behavior is always choice.

Sexuality is about innate drives and attractions. These are not chosen.

Dating was against school policy, as it is in pretty much all private schools. Sure kids had crushes, but if they didn't no one assumed they were gay, they assumed they were a nerd and focused on their studies, or just someone who has accepted the fact that girls are not interested in them so why waste time and pride on the girls in return. I didn't learn who was gay in my graduating class until years later when it was revealed on facebook or something.

Obviously there is a desire behind those behaviors, just as their is a desire behind the behavior of gay sex.

Do you think a prison "test case" is reliable and the test results derived from it (and the associated analysis) are valid for explaining the activities of the general human population?

The test case is corrupted.

[have you ever heard the phrase garbage in, garbage out?]
