I can tell you were not a woman in the '80s, trying to make it in a world where there were still a lot of barriers to women in the workplace. Reporting it would have been tantamount to destroying her career. As a woman who was just getting into the workforce at that time myself, I can attest to the type of environment where you shut up and put up if you wanted to work.
