The military budget will never be "gutted". It will see reductions and we will again see buildups. It has a cycle and has for nearly a century. We will always be involved in wars and conflicts. Get used to it.

Not relevant. I will assume you were not in Iraq or Afghanistan, find some that were and ask them about the ROE. We could easily not be at war, but then people like you would be sniveling about us ending a war like we did in WWII.
