How do you know that this is true? Do you know many white drug dealers who are getting away with it? If so, have you contacted the authorities about this?
What's the point? That's not what the thread is about.
Why would a DEA agent be told not to enforce drug laws in white areas? That's the point.
On average white people have more money, better access to lawyers, etc etc.
Kinda like how we prosecute regular folks for theft of 100K and imprison them, whereas if you're wealthy enough, and steal millions, you are less likely to face prosecution.
The issue is that despite the fact that the vast majority of drug users, statistically speaking, are white, blacks disproportionately make up the majority of those incarcerated for drug use.
Who knows what the heck you are babbling about.
A bit off. Because blacks and whites, percentage wise, use drugs at roughly the same level. You can't ignore the population difference then say statistically speaking.
And yes statistically speaking, blacks do disproportionately make up the majority of those incarcerated for drug use.
Especially those in the inner city, btw.
Congress needs to pass the Redeem Act. Look to someone in the Tea Party yet again to defend the rights of the individual and at the same time keeping the playing field level.

^^^THis. They typically go after the dealers....not the users.
My old roomates highschool friend got 6-12 months in jail for dealing. (first offense)
He was a white kid from an upscale suburb.
I disagree, many users get nailed for simple possession. Unless you are talking about jail time. Granted their wont be a sting operation for the person buying a $20 bag. Unless they are autistic
