The only cheering I'm hearing is reminiscent of a certain Jodie Foster movie. Walker has the state of Wisconsin slammed down on the pinball machine, and the Koch Brothers, Fox News, Charlie Sykes, and die-hard conservatives are all cheering him on.

What you don't understand is that it's not all about to whom unions donate. Conservatives feel that employers should have the right to hire and fire employees. The idea that a high performing employee should be laid off and a low performing employee should be kept due to seniority and not how well they do the job is ridiculous to conservatives.

But that just isn't the case, that's just union propaganda.

Technically, they weren't shoved into a union but they were essentially forced to pay union dues.

Nobody should be forced to join, or pay into, a union if you don't want to be part of that union.

Yes, being given the choice to join a union is EXACTLY like being raped. Ask any rape victim, and I'm sure they'll agree with you.

Do you also believe having your car vandalized is just like being raped?

It's not just about the latest "right to work" legislation. It's a systematic pattern of "slash and burn" governance that Walker has exhibited since he was first inaugurated in 2011. People like I mentioned are cheering it on, gleefully.

What does having a car vandalized have to do with anything?

But the union should still be forced to represent the freeloader, right? That's what "right to work" says.

So, when the government reduces spending on a program, it's just like being raped?

Can you please cite the specific laws that force employers to apply any pay raises "won" by unions to non-union employees? I'll wait.

When it comes to attacking one group after another, slashing funding for things left and right, and further burdening local municipalities to absurd ends, then yes, the analogy is apt.
