considering the entourage both have, and considering that when the president flies there are always TWO 747s anyway, along with two C17s with all the ground vehicles, etc. and four F15s flying escort, and then add in the advance teams that fly in for both the president and the first lady, i have no issue with this. chances are the first lady flew in the second 747 anyway, so its not like they added a third plane to the mix.

As a taxpayer, I resent TWO aircraft flying to the SAME location in the same day. This is the height of selfishness in my opinion. Airforce One costs $228,000 to fly that route. The FL's plane cost about $150,000. So, do you really find that spending $375,000 on their junket was tax money well spent. Call it a slow news day if you wish, but as a TAXPAYER,, I find it disgusting.

Agreed, couple things here... first, is this unique to the first black family or have others done it, Clintons possibly? Second, if I were him I wouldn't want to have to be stuck on a flight for seven hours with her either, so I can empathize. Third, we have known for 6 years that they are selfish narcissistic sleaze balls with no regard for the "common man" so why the outrage now?!?

People act like he is the first president to do stuff like this. Like all the secret service, etc... just started with Obama. Like he's the only one who ever even took a vacation. I'm not a huge Obama fan, but some folks are just looking to be offended.
