Colo. to end ACA exception for 190K people
"It's time for them to get on to a better plan," Insurance Commissioner Marguerite Salazar said.

And this will help the exchange. I think with their grant money running out, it's important to have more people in the exchange to give (it) more income."

Colorado says health plans covering 190k will be discontinued - The Denver Post

They need more healthy people and to boost the imaginary total of 'newly insured' in the exchanges.

btw, Salazar is the former regional DHHS director for the Colorado region.

Who's we? People who did not have healthcare before, people with pre existing conditions, are not we, so speak for yourself.

Obamacare made mine less affordable by a 93% increase.
Same plan I had before.

Just as many before as after the ACA will not have insurance....because a group lost insurance and a group gained insurance does not mean a net gain...

And your quote about people being up in Arms, is actually from republican congressman Mike Coffman

but you know, facts.
It gets annoying seeing the same freak out threads getting posted in here only to realize that it isn't even an issue once you read the article. But then again, I wouldn't expect anything less from our right wingers.

You mean state standards?

Some states allowed junk policies and some did not.
So many, too many of the general public assumes all insurance is alike. Many still do.

There were people with $50 a month plans that unbeknownst to them did not cover hospitalization, treatment or meds. Yeah, keep your plan and head in the sand.

ACA is first and foremost, Consumer Protection.

So now that the talking point is that all policies being cancelled were junk, tell me how moving people to quality "cough" policies, were supposed to cut the price of policies while improving coverage?

Not nearly as annoying as the same people who ran around proclaiming we needed to pass ACA to insure every american, and if you dont support it, you want people to do..

Followed by, we need to pass ACA in order to cut the deficit,

Or, claiming people could keep their policies if they wanted, and if you doubt it, you were fear mongering.

now that you guys were wrong from DAY ONE, and we told you that, we dont hear a peep out of you, other than finding other reasons its so wonderful, like more people insured, despite the fact its actually less..

I have yet to figure out if you guys on the left are this stupid, or if you know you're being played for a fool, but need to carry on in order to not damage "your side"
