This is proof, that the IRS, an agency that can punish us the most, is a political weapon.

The IRS has a proposal to change the rules in which they operate, to allow what they were caught doing with the Conservative groups applying for status.

Will the pen come out for this one, when it falls flat on it's face in the wastebasket on the house floor.

That's just horridly disgusting and detestable.

This comment got it right...

The proposed regulations go far beyond the proper rule of the IRS. The IRS exists to collect revenue, not to regulate free speech.
[emphasis mine]

It's time for the IRS to go bye-bye...

The IRS and the ability to tax us on our prosperity, should have never ever been enacted.

The Internal Revenue Service is correct: there needs to be a change regarding the current rules applicable to 501(c)(3) and (4) entities to address the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v. FEC. That was what the so-called IRS "scandal" was really about.

Wouldn't have worry about it if everyone paid a set amount of taxes.... Everyone.
Each man, woman and child, is taxed for being an American...... Everyone have skin in the game, you would have half the crap we do now taking liberties and turning than into privileges, one at a time.
You have a kid, it adds to your tax bill.

Even a flat tax on income, would be much better.

I expect another unconstitutional Executive Order to make it so if this fails to be approved otherwise.
