He's got the right idea though: sell yourself as a populist friend of the people fighting corruption in DC. It's a heap of bull, but it is better than running on what he truly is, just another DC politician who is selling the country down the river to his wealthy donors.

As a Ron Paul supporter, one issue I have with them is that we can look at the Obama administration and their hands off policies in regards to international affairs. he pledged to stay out of sovereign nations and that we dont hold authority to dictate "rules" to the world. (paraphrasing)

I'm not so sure thats working out too well.

Obama, Clintons etc, shows us that strategy will be successful and their supporters will turn the other way.

cruz is favored least among his field of rivals. don't want to believe that, maybe do some research. not only does he not stand a chance with his own party, not many middle of the road voters either dem or repug. will vote for him. announcing his candidacy at a jerry falwell school did not help him with any moderate.

Cant wait to see if Hillary campaigns against Washington and Obamas policies, and thus try to sell the notion she's an outsider, or if she's going to embrace the failures of government and try to sell the "full steam ahead" strategy.
