Israel Spied on Iran Nuclear Talks With U.S.

Israeli officials denied spying directly on U.S. negotiators and said they received their information through other means, including close surveillance of Iranian leaders receiving the latest U.S. and European offers. European officials, particularly the French, also have been more transparent with Israel about the closed-door discussions than the Americans, Israeli and U.S. officials said.

However, what appears to have upset administration officials more than the spying is the use of the classified intelligence acquired to brief members of the US Congress and to persuade them to torpedo the talks.

It is one thing for the US and Israel to spy on each other. It is another thing for Israel to steal US secrets and play them back to US legislators to undermine US diplomacy,” the Wall Street Journal quoted a senior US official as saying.
Uh huh. Our dictator don't need no stinkin' legislature.

Do you really think Netanyahu considers the Obama Administration a "friend"?

Well, of course Israel was spying on the Iran Nuclear talks. Why would even Israel even bother to maintain a spy agency, if not to spy on events like the Iran Nuclear talks, which relate to matters that threaten their existence as a nation?
Supporters of Israel, at least the ones with their brains activated, will quickly see this as more animosity by Obama and the Democrats towards Israel and its Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu.

How did we ever get such a petulant punk for a president? Seriously, these kinds of antics by Barack Obama are an embarrassment to us all.
Was holder doing more 'judge shopping" as he did to spy on Rosen and other AP journalists.

Who would believe that gang of thugs in the whitehouse?

Like the US and every other country isn't flexing their spyglasses.

Why not ask HRC if the Israelies broke into her server where she keeps national security information. Maybe they got it from her ...if they got it.

We don't see ISIS coming or know what Iran really plans to do with a nuke - but we are keeping tabs on Angela Merkel's cell phone.

I see. So those people who spoke about NSA after Snowden leak were just being petulant and showing animosity against the United States? I disagree. I'd rather let them express their displeasure, and I think US has the right to say something when out allies spy on us. Germany sure made some noise when they found out we had spied on them. Petulant? Animosity? Nah. I think it is a rather natural response.

Yes, we are allies. Obama has funneled more US money to Israel than any other president. They have their disagreements, and maybe even personal dislike, but we are still allies.

Same with "W" admin. Israel hated what "W" did in regards to Gaza pull out, and putting Hamas in power, but we never stopped being allies.

President Obama has made his dislike of Netanyahu abundantly clear. Ally or not, there is no respect or trust in that relationship and the policies that are being pursued by our Administration. Israel's existence is Netanyahu's priority, not President Obama's foreign policy.

And earlier you said Bibi doesn't like Obama. So, it goes both ways, but the important thing is that we are still allies.
