Apparently there were thousands of bar brawls and more than 5,000 people were injured when another patron threw a pint of beer (assume it was empty) I suppose if someone were that determined to create a ruckus in a joint, he would throw a bar stool..or even the person sitting next to him!
Remember the movie "The Graduate?" Famous line.. "One word ~ plastics."
I hate to admit I was a senior in high school when that movie was released.
Oh, since you brought up the subject, Concord, MA banned the sale of single-serve plastic water bottles for environmental reasons. Good for them! The problem is that it won't stop a residents from driving to Lincoln or Lexington if they're determined to buy them.
