I wish we had a more specific vocabulary to describe what goes on in another person's head.

Robertson plainly has an active mental process, but just because it's called thinking doesn't mean it's the same thing as, say, Stephen Hawking's mental process.

Pat Robertson has an interesting and perplexing past:

Quote:
His father was a US Congressman from 1933-46, and a US Senator from 1946-67. A typical conservative "Southern Democrat" from the era when segregation was rarely questioned, Sen. Absalom Willis Robertson is remembered as a staunch supporter of Jim Crow laws and for his outspoken criticism of the US Supreme Court's Brown v Board of Education decision, ending segregated schools.
Quote:
By the age of 13, he was a troublesome kid, who smoked, drank, was popular with girls, and frequently stayed out until 3:00 in the morning.

Apparently Pat Robertson thinks that gays are gonna force Christians to like anal and oral sex.....so who's gonna tell Pat that lots of Christians already enjoy anal and oral sex with no help from the gays? Also, what is Pat's fascination with male gay sex? Makes you wonder what the old man fantasizes about.

"You're gonna say that you like anal sex, you like oral sex, you like bestiality," he added. "Sooner or later, you're going to have to conform your religious beliefs to the group of some abhorrent thing. It won't stop at homosexuality."

Pat Robertson: Gays Will Force Christians To Like Anal Sex And, Eventually, Polyamory And Bestiality
Now surely, Robertson notices that people send him more money than usual after every time he speaks out against gays, no matter how over the top crazy it may sound.

Lightbulb What's been on Pat Robertson's mind

"How much longer 'til I get to say dumb things in heaven with my ol' bud Jerry Falwell?"

Nice to see at least one conservative honest about why he is anti-gay. I think most conservatives do fear their gay feelings. Why would they go on witch hunts to find gay content in everything imaginable if that were not so? Straight people don't think about homosexuality much, its always the right complaining about how filthy the gays are and graphically mentioning their sex acts. It is funny how Pat's coming guns blazing out of the closet in his old age lol, wonder what Teabagger who things gay marriage "threatens their marriage" is next.

He feeds off maintaining his followers in a chronic state of fear and loathing, and "teh gayz" is pretty reliable for that.

Perhaps that "Missionary" from Holland explained to him how rich he could become playing the Christian card.

He tells them their lot in life sucks because of the Homosexuals and their "agenda" (I have yet to read an explanation of what THAT is) ... when he should be telling them their life sucks because they made too many babies to support, and the money they send him would do much better going for food for their table.

Amen to that. He read a letter on the air last month from a women in her 70s who was a lifetime member of his 700 Club--meaning she has pledged a monthly donation--who was having difficulty meeting her bills. Rather than telling her to stop sending him money every month, he told this elderly women she should get a job.

I'm sorry that I don't believe in hell, because if there was a hell, there would be a special place in it for con men like Robertson.
