Oh... the horror.

Saving water is for idiots. I'd much rather spend extra money on heating extra water than preserve it like some liberal hippy. I mean, I'm a fiscal conservative. Why would I save money!? What is this, Communist China? It's Adam and Even, not Adam and Steve!

And in case it's not yet obvious, I think you're being ridiculous. Conserving water is a good idea for a lot of reasons, not just environmental ones. The EPA is encouraging creating smart habits. I get that the EPA is typically considered liberal, but seriously, why do partisan politics ALWAYS have to trump reason in this country.

So should I send the kids to conduct a toilet inspection?

LOL..be on a septic system for a year and you will learn to conserve water

After years of living with city water and sewer I had a home with a septic.
Flooded it the first year and that sure taught me to conserve water.

20 years later....it's just ingrained habit now.

Did you even read the article you linked? The EPA said to 'conduct an experiment' than involved dropping food coloring in the toilet to see if the colored water appears anywhere it shouldn't. I mean, christ, their putting article dye in a bowl of water you **** in, they're not reinstalling the piping.

Yup, sounds like conducting an inspection all right.

That flushing sound is your tax dollars going down the crapper as the EPA looks for new and useless ways to justify its existence ( and take care of its cronies)
