I'm afraid I can't think privatization is a better approach. There are some programs that are better run by a non biased third party. Post office, Social security, medicare (far more efficient than the private version). Taxes are what we use to get things done. Public works are too large to saddle with the states or individuals. As a result, I fall on the left.... go figure!
