Same sex marriage? As far as I know same sex couple can't legally get married inside Israel.
Universal healthcare..Yes, but it ain't cheap
Lots of abortions? ... I wouldn't say lots as the rate of abortion has always been on a decline.
Liberal paradise?.... I wouldn't call it a liberal paradise. Sure a lot of laws are on the liberal side but it ain't paradise.

Obama has not changed anything in regards to our relationship with Israel and the Middle East except some of your own deluded perceptions. Every President has had the same exact foreign policy for decades!

That is the definition of insanity and it must end.

We need to cut it all including Egypt, Pakistan, Israel and most importantly Saudi Arabia.
We need to leave the region and never return. Bring OUR TROOPS HOME!

We have enough methane and ethanol gas in this country for all of our cars to run on. It is only the Oil cartel and Federal Reserve banking cartel that have interests in the Middle East.

Don't be lied into WAR!
Can't cut the Saudis...the US has an agreement brokered by Nixon to defend them because they defend the US dollar. Google "petrodollar."

The only variance between Presidents and Parties in regards to Foreign Policy decisions on Israel is in answering the question, "How best do we support Israel?".

One party generally believes that aggressive action, hawkish military action and the use of a heavy hand on the Palestinian population or other enemies of Israel, best defends Israel's interests. The other has a more subtle approach whereby the support of "the Peace Process" is placed at the forefront and settlement building is harshly criticized, however the aid & military aid keeps being sent and Israel continues to do what it wants with relative impunity.

These realities will not change until there is a strong enough lobby to counter the Israel Lobby, which may take a few more generations.

That sums it up nicely.

The USA has an obligation to give military and financial aid to Egypt and Israel according to the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty. So this hasn't nothing to do President Obama's decision making.
