I think Chris Christie allies and friends are going to talk.
Why is this being brought up again? I thought this was settled? He was not involved. Do we really need to rehash this?

If involved, I'm not saying what he did wasn't wrong, but my God, it was a bridge traffic jam. Not the millions upon millions of dollars that the Clintons stole and are 100% sure are getting a free pass.

The traffic jam was on local streets in the towns surrounding the bridge. The gridlock impacted commuters, residents, students, businesses, and emergency responders on the NJ side. And that doesn't take into account the businesses in NYC that were impacted by their employees inability to get to work.

If Christie was involved, it would be another example of his personal ambitions and grievances trumping the well being of his constituents. Following that logic, if Christie can't be trusted on a local level, why should anybody trust him to manage national and global affairs?

I lived in NJ for several years and took the GW bridge many times.

It is simply impossible to live in northern NJ and not know that bridge was closed.

He knew.

There's traffic on the bridge and local street 24/7.

And I am sure you would sing a different tune if the shoe were on your foot. Fact of the matter is there is not one shred of evidence that he had anything to do with the stunt. So until someone can actually provide proof otherwise then I am more than willing to give Christie the benefit of the doubt.

You have to live in NJ to understand the impact of that bridge closing. For 4 days.

No one would dare close it unless the governor knew (approved) of its closing.

Yep. Christie is known as a micro-manager. There's no way this was done--and went on for four days--without Christie's knowledge.

I have worked in NJ government for 35 years. This governor's office is more involved in controlling everything than all of the others combined.

They never seem to want to make things operate more efficiently but they want to control everything.
