Here is a local story, about 30 miles from me. Some home invadors were arrested. 4 of them came back to the same house, though not certain, it was most likely for revenge. This time two of the four of them ended up dead instead of in handcuffs. A win for the homeowner.

A couple of take aways. You see the difference in outcomes become the two home invasions and what can happen when the criminals are arrested and then released earlier in the week (another win for prop 47). Also what can happen when a person decides to take their safety into their own hands instead of relying on law enforcement and their 20 minute average response times. This is also a perfect example of why standard capacity magazines are needed when you are facing 4 attackers.

Just after 9:00 pm Friday, Pittsburg Police officers responded to a shooting call in the 1000 block of Jewett Avenue where two subjects were shot and killed by the homeowner.

The circumstances following up to this shooting are under investigation including the possibility of an interrupted burglary attempt.

According to Pittsburg Police, there were four subjects arrested during a home invasion robbery at this residence earlier this week. Police said that its unknown if the incidents are related.

I am sure the homeowner misinterpreted the actions of the 4 good Samaritans who were simply checking out the well being of the homeowner.

And to think, there are people out there that want to keep homeowners from owning guns.
