I have little doubt that the current crop of political idiots from the Religious Right would relish forcing their religious views on the country in the name of "religious freedom" because they don't respect anybody's beliefs but their own.
And they'd be shocked and horrified if you pointed out to them that if they did carry out their agenda they'd be as bad as the jihadists who are turning back the clock to the middle ages. Just what would they suggest for those of us who would not go along with reimposing traditional christan 'values' as the only option?

The problem with Christianity is that very few Christians follow Jesus' commandments. Just take a look at the Sermon on the Mount and see just how difficult it is to be considered a true, obedient Christian. Too many Christians cherry-pick which commandments they want to follow and disregard or twist the ones that they have trouble agreeing with.

+1,000

But we all realize the importance of the Second Commandment, uh, I mean, Amendment.

It is a lie that the US is a Christian Nation.

It is a nation of freedom where a little Jewish woman has to stand against violent Muslims because Christians are cowards

That Jewish woman was the organizer of the stop Muslim violence cartoon contest in USA.

She is now being compared to America's greatest civil right leader Dr. Martin Luther King

A step forward for America. This is good news.

I always still thought that the majority prefer a gay (or an Atheist even) over a Christian/religious president.

But then again, do they still prefer a religious president over an Atheist one? Let them do a survey on that...

This is such crap. I love you, but I reject who you are. Hate to break it to you, but that is not love.

I didn't think so.
Great logic. I know three heterosexual couples who can't or do not want children. I say we get together and have an old fashioned stoning.
