I'm not a conservative, and that really shows how dumb you are, to inject political parties into this, how utterly stupid....

Before you get your panties in a wad, you should read the post I was responding to. I didn't inject political parties.

How stupid is your post now?

Seriously why is Marijuana illegal? You can basically grow it in your back yard if you wanted too. Legalize it and Tax it but stop throwing people into prison for it.

Not stalking you T-310, but I do pay attention.
'Preciate it. I understand personal choice but those choices lead to bad things happening.

Yes, indeed. I am an extremely moderate person.

There will always be people who have trouble with any sort of drug or almost any form of entertainment. But, on the whole, the world would be a better place if pot were legal. The downsides of some people overindulging, getting sick, and driving while intoxicated would be more than offset by the benefits of not wasting law-enforcement and judicial resources catching and prosecuting people who would otherwise generally pose very little threat to society. (Overall, somewhat less of a threat to/burden on society on than the people who drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, or eat too many sweet treats.)

BTW: Compared to booze and tobacco, virtually no one would get severely addicted to pot. Some people get emotionally over-dependent on pot, just like some people overindulge in TV or sex, but on the whole it is not a highly addictive drug. And if you eat it, rather than smoke it, the health effects are minimal (again, compared to booze, tobacco, or sugar.)

On average, if society is going to allow "sinful indulgences" then pot is one of the least harmful to allow.
