Instead of focusing on gay marriage issues and political correctness; perhaps Republicans and Anti-Unions/Labor Laws people should focus more on workers' rights and the economy - America ranks '4' on workers' right; we rank worse than Thailand and Brazil, and in the same league as Peru, Botswana, Iran and Burma. There is definitely a major problem with our workers' rights here when you consider even many dirt poor 3rd world countries have more protections than we do! What a shame

And what exactly are workers rights? Was this list made my people similar to the so called "human rights activists" who are really just big government leftists in disguise?

It's pretty amazing how many "human rights" the west is breaking according to these kinds of people.

Well first of all it's very easy to get fired/laid-off in America without any notice required; no mandatory unpaid/paid days off for any reason (sick, holidays, vacation, etc), very few are qualified for 90 days of unpaid maternity leave, very low unionized workers', etc. unlike all other 1st and even 2nd world nations.

You can argue that any country that converts it's manned space program to the Department of Political Correctness and Weather Studies probably can't be called 'first world' anymore.

Sound like you are making stuff up again, none of that stuff is a right, there are only two rights. A safe work environment and pay for the hours work

I agree.

If as a worker you want more you can feel free to negotiate that as part of your compensation package.

Not until they provide a good reason for firing an employee... many do for salary reason actually.

So we should force someone to pay someone more than they are worth?
