Blacks commit 12 times more murders per capita than whites....prudent to be 12 times more cautious.
No one in their right mind would have more fear of a black guy carrying an AR-15 openly than they would a white guy carrying one openly.
The black murder rate doesn't even work in this situation. The black guy committing all that crime doesn't have the profile of a person walking around carrying a weapon openly. The typical black criminal is a drug dealer, robber, drug related murderer, or a murderer involved in some vendetta.
Sorry...but a white guy openly carrying an AR-15 is about the scariest sight I can think of.
LOL! Which is it leftists? Do you support the 2nd Amendment or not? Race shouldn't be the issue. The cop was wrong, period.
You're missing the point entirely. The white guy was just asked some questions. The black guy was asked to lay on the ground. Two very different situations, yet both started the same. A guy walking around with a gun.
And I'm a liberal and fully support the 2nd amendment. I find it stupid when people walk around with a gun just to walk around with a gun, but I wouldn't make it illegal. Just call it what it is.

That does not mean it is a race issue. The 1st cop might have treated both individuals the same way. Likewise, the 2nd cop might have arrested the white guy too.

Both of our arguments are possible, but the fact remains that the black guy was legally carrying the weapon and was arrested.

And it is pure speculation to say it happened because he was black. We do not know how many takes the film makes made until they got what they wanted. We dont even know if the two events happened in the same city. Open carry is NOT allowed in every city/town in Oregon. Why were the police cars different colors in the two tests? I'll bet they were not in the came city.
