Funny, often times you hear the libs on hear questioning why Conservative's loved Reagan so much, this says it all...

I was disappointed in W for a lot of things but this he got right.

Yeah, Bush would have had them stay in Iraq forever... that's the only way America would save face.

The only place this is up for debate is in America. The rest of the world has been saying it since before W even invaded.

Remember the protests that happened across the planet saying don't do it?

As I recal he praised them as freedom fighters

Bush can shove his 'we can't leave Iraq now' quotes up his ***.

Had we listened to Eisenhower, a conservative, we wouldn't have had to worry about what happens if we leave Iraq because we wouldn't have been stupid enough to go in the first place.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Problem with Bush and Reagan is they got everything else wrong.

I got about a minute and a half into the vid and then realized that I could take no more.

Reagan hauled ass out of Lebanon. So really, he can't talk.

And criticizing Bush at this point on the war is fruit that hangs too low for me to bother with. No one is interested an ANYTHING he has to say about wars anymore.

Amazing how people hold up totally discredited people for exaltation and praise. As if you think none of us has read a newspaper or read a book.

ask the average Polish citizen what they think of Reagan
Ronald Reagan statue unveiled in Warsaw - Telegraph

Bush had a similar vision for the Mid East as Reagan had for the East Bloc, but was not able to carry it off. But not for lack of trying.

The Poles don't vote in American elections. But I guess you can take comfort from wherever you can get it from. I'd rather hear the Poles talk about their actions during the Holocaust and how they terrorized Jews who attempted to return to their homes after the war.

Bush's vision for the Middle East was as pollyanish as a Marvel Comics movie. That wasn't a vision....that was a pipe dream.

And I wonder what exactly he was smoking in that pipe.

The average Pole today, or even in 1989 for that matter was either not alive or a small child during the holocaust and WWII. You're going to blame them for that?

No.

But I'm not gonna judge Reagan based on Polish public opinion either. The Poles don't have to live with the residual effects left over by Reaganism.
