You're gonna still croak too. We all will.

It's cancer genius. People actually die from it.

Yeah, just conveniently forget our attempt to invade their country and overthrow their leadership. A leadership that Cuban people wanted at the time BTW.

Bombed them for what?

Should we have been attacked on 9/11?

Will you send them the criminals lounging around the U.S. that they want extradited to stand trial?

That's overstating it a pretty good bit.

Anyway, I doubt this vaccine is worth much, but anything that contributes to a thaw is a great thing.

What does Russia have to offer these days?

Cubans are dirt poor. They can't afford anything. The only people with money are the communist leaders.

You are so biased, as usual. Your Republican hated has fried your brain. Maybe you are not aware, but Dems have blocked Cuban relations too.

And BTW, I've supported normalizing relations with Cuba for years.

So what? They chose this leadership back in 1959. How they fare under it is their business.

When they get tired enough of it, they'll get rid of it...or maybe they won't.

It's none of our concern either way.

So either:

a) Cuba is a horrible country that withheld an important health treatment from the world which has no embargo against it.

or

b) The story is a load of bull.
Most likely it's b. People dying of cancer will try anything. And I would too.

Nevertheless, normalizing relations with Cuba is a good thing.

This is true and may never change. But the embargo didn't change anything either.

A good thing for whom?

The people in Havana are hungry, living in crumbling structures with no indoor plumbing, and now have no hope for change. Do you think that U.S. tourist dollars will benefit the people? Why should it be any different from the money that the Dictator has made from European tourists? A few lucky Cubans have been selected by the government to "service" the tourists, and the rest are subject to arrest if they even try to get close to the tourist areas. Instead, they get to play the hungry dogs at the butcher shop window.
