Great. So after a decade of dilly dallying around, our government will finally allow US citizens the privilege to purchase what the Cubans have had access to for years... And for free. Unless of course, the government rejects it in, thus favoring the old standby of conventional treatments.

They don't have anything. That thug Chavez from Venezuela went there for cancer treatment and he still croaked.

Immunotherapy is the frontier of cancer treatment today. The fact that we are just now acknowledging potential treatment options that have existed for decades should infuriate Americans, as cancer is a leading cause of death.
I don't think this "vaccine" is the end all by any means. It is a step in a new direction with regards to modern treatment options. It also shows that the Cubans, with their limited resources, were on to something, well before the American medical community accepted the potential of immunotherapy.
Of course there are benefits to not standing for something and selling your soul for a buck like this administration does. Kissing the butt of the Communist regime that helped our arch enemy plan to destroy us and now we are friends.
They should have agreed to a Democracy before we even considered this.

I've bought two pairs of shoes recently, one pair was made in Vietnam, the other was made in China. Both countries have killed American soldiers, while Cuba has killed none. (Don't even bring up Grenada, please)
Yet people of your mindset is exactly why we have had no relations for over 50 years with Cuba, and if people of your mindset (i.e., Republicans) had any say it would be another 50 years.

"They should have agreed to a Democracy"……SMH…..
They aren't located 90 miles away and welcomed nuclear weapons onto their soil that were aimed at me when I was a baby however. We should have bombed that crap out of them (not with nukes) after the Soviets tucked tail and ran but the President decided not to. I still respect that decision but don't agree with it.
No thanks. Vaccines of ANY kind are not safe and 99% of the time don't work.
