Nothing like STAYING OUT in the first place so said stockpiles and armory weren't ever there. But oh...let's go back and give them the opportunity to take our arms, incite their recruitment, and train soldiers whom will later defect to their side.

The strategy of dumping the problem on the next President is working, yes.

We need to attack ISIS. I don't call for military action often, but this is the first real threat that's been in the Middle East for quite some time. ISIS shows interest in going into Europe for reasons that extend past policy. Bin Laden, for example, was making a political statement with 9/11. He wanted the Wester world out of the Middle East. ISIS wants more than that.

We also are responsible for Iraq. We (stupidly) invaded and then left before we should have and ISIS shows up. We created ISIS and it's on us to stop it. Attack the area ISIS has claimed, with support from other ME powers, who we should continue to support so that they (not us) can ensure that ISIS doesn't come back once we've eliminated the threat.
Completely agree. Kill all terrorists.

Default White House Says Overall ISIS Strategy A Success

Baloney!

The "winning strategy" for the USA is to pack up and move out. Let the paleolithic bastages continue their mindless violence and slaughter, because that's been the most defining characteristic of the middle east for the past 10 thousand years and probably longer.

Nothing we do or say will cause them to grow up.

If ISIS is truly the big bad threat that we've been led to believe, then Saudi, Jordan, and Turkey would be actively fighting them. The fact that they won't lift a finger tells me all I need to know about this "threat."

Not our fight.

Let it bleed.

The next president has every right to neglect the issue too. Obama isn't dumping anything.

If the next president is a fool, then yeah, they'll go in there and try to pick up where things left off.

2012 Defense Intelligence Agency document: West will facilitate rise of Islamic State “in order to isolate the Syrian regime”.

On Monday, May 18, the conservative government watchdog group Judicial Watch published a selection of formerly classified documents obtained from the U.S. Department of Defense and State Department through a federal lawsuit.

And people think they are getting news from Bill O'Reilly or Rachel Maddow ?

I guess the lesson here is that you don't end violence and oppression in the Middle East with violence.

Anyone who says kill all the terrorists is really arguing for genocide. You kill one terrorist with 8 kids, you have to kill all the kids too, because they will grow up and need to avenge papa and Allah. A losing game.

Lay down with the dogs, you get the fleas.

As opposed to allowing ISIS to swallow the Middle East and the World's Oil Supply.

You're right, I cannot see how that could ever be a problem. Especially with Israel, Pakistan, Turkey and possibly Iran all having nuclear weapons.

I'm shocked Obama hasn't found a job for you, it seems you see eye to eye.

In other words, abdicate responsibility. Again, 70% of Americans supported going to Iraq in 2002-2003. If that number had been 30%, Bush would not have been able to proceed. We as a nation were responsible.

Now 12 years later those folks get to face beheadings of children, sex slavery, etc. And America just throws up its hands and says, 'oh well, time to walk away.'
