I personally can't see any of the Duggars getting back on a reality show series. Unless they do a show similar to "Breaking Amish" where one or more of the Duggar children get out of their current lifestyle and try to live more like the average American. A "Breaking Duggar" anyone?

Seriously? That is in WTF territory... I don't watch 'reality' tv, and have absolutely no interest in these bizarre family shows.

It's disheartening to see just how far these people will go to make the almighty $$.

Uggghhh...

They are nowhere near a normal family. This has been the Jim Bob and Michelle's Traveling Circus and Side Show and it exists for one reason: Michelle has an abnormally efficient reproduction system.

They chose to draw a target on themselves and were arrogant enough to think no one was going to notice it. Surprise, surprise. People noticed it.
Agreed, 100%. Well stated.

I have doubts about the locks on bdrm doors; were they locked from the outside? What exactly did these kids use as a bathroom in the middle of the nite?

And don't bdrm doors usually have locks from the inside, what did they actually do to safeguard...nothing. Is it any wonder Jill and Jessa seemed flustered when asked in the interview about their parents safeguarding.

Why are you so quick to believe THEM? You criticize us for believing what's being reported in the media, yet blindly believe the family when the information they're giving doesn't add up. Do you know the Duggars? Can you speak for Jim Bob and Michelle's character? For Josh's? For the clearly brainwashed victims, Jessa and Jill to name the 2 who spoke out? With what knowledge or information do YOU have to back up your belief that THEY are the ones telling the truth and the media is lying or sensationalizing?

Given the seriousness of Josh's crimes and the years of cover ups, now that it's out, don't you think the Duggars are trying to do damage control? Doing what they can, saying what they have to, to uphold the "wholesome Christian family" reputation they had prior to this? For what reason would the media lie? Because the Duggars' reasons are pretty clear.

I read the ENTIRE police report... did you?

Josh improperly touched his sisters while they were fully clothed. What a crock of unmitigated bull feces. Like we are supposed to believe this utter damage control nonsense. And the dopey insipid sisters now play along, because let's face it, it's all about the money and chasing the power trip and the fame.

Even in the midst of softballs pitched by Megyn Kelly, you could see the putrescent faces of Mom and Dad Duggar filtering and editing their responses like savvy politicians. And their phony looking at each other every 47.6 seconds to "look real". Scripted non-answers clumsily delivered.

Go away!

Well, later JimB did say that there was some touching under the clothes but "only for a second". So . . that should put all of our minds at ease.

I think they will go away; it's best for everyone.

Serious question, because I don't know the answer and have been wondering.

Had this been properly handled, what is the protocol for a teenage child molester? Let's pretend Michelle and Jim Bob were totally horrified by their son's actions and reported him immediately to the police (and the officer actually did something about it) or a doctor who immediately reported the incidents. What would happen to Josh? Would he be arrested? Questioned? Removed from the home? Would any of the other children have been removed from the home? Would he have gone to court, been sentenced - and to what? Juvenile jail, treatment? Would he be a registered sex offender? What normally happens to a teen who molests his own siblings or anyone else?

What I've heard on TV is that the perpetrator is immediately removed from the home. I'm not sure what the chain of events would be and how much it might vary state by state. It seems clear that professionals trained in this specific area would also immediately become involved. It would be a very detailed evaluation.

Maybe Jim Bob Duggar is a big fat stinkin' liar.

Did you watch the Duggar interview with Megyn Kelly? I ask, because of your comment bolded above.

To keep facts straight, found official police reports from 12/2006, 3 1/2 to 4 yrs after the 2002 incident. Time of reporting crucial; making them beyond statute of limitations, for juveniles or adults.

DFS did investigate, if they felt it necessary to remove all the kids from the home, it could've happened, however none removed.

If within statute of limitations, Josh would've been removed from the home into a program. Some states do make juvenile sex offenders register after turning 18, making it known to the public.

Reports haven't been removed by In Touch Weekly, however, names blackend out.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/21/us/jos...n-allegations/

Duggar's statement appears to refer to a 2006 police report obtained by In Touch Weekly detailing the accusations and investigation of child molestation in Springdale, Arkansas. The report is heavily redacted and does not include the name of the person accused of "forcible fondling," but the dates listed in the document seem to line up with Duggar's statement Thursday.

On Thursday, a judge ordered that police report obtained by In Touch Weekly be expunged because one of the victims -- a minor -- could be "directly or indirectly" identified in it.

Lt. Scott Lewis of Springdale police told CNN that the police report cited by In Touch Weekly had been expunged because of a judge's order.
