So will YOU deflect again? Or actually respond this time?
I'm sorry but there is a night and day difference post 9/11 terrorism and pre 9/11 in terms of lives lost and resources spent.

You forget about Clinton's Desert Fox bombing campaign?

The fact is Bush and Obama are both idealists on foreign policy when we need a realist.

Pat Buchanan, among others, warned us about the dangers of disposing Saddam and the potential pitfalls of the Arab Spring.

LOLOLOLZ. It's funny how you want Obama to work with his counterparts when it comes to the Middle East but don't share the same philosophy on healthcare with Republicans working with Dems on a solution....

We've never had a realist on foreign policy in many administrations, if ever in modern American history. Just a bunch of short term fixes that just try to fix the last mistake but ends up creating more.

Ike was pretty much a realist, Reagan and Kennedy were a bit of both.

I thought Ike was a great president, but his foreign policy on containment of communism proved to be pretty fruitless and expensive in the coming decades.

Suppose we will have to agree to disagree what a "realist" is.
