I don't think the OP has posted anything that isn't his/her opinion. No links to back up any of the bold claims. Should have added a poll to the thread.

That's why Church attendance has been declining for decades? You can also stuff the mega Church retort that you are no doubt formulating, because even they aren't stopping that decline.

lol, you have not a clue do you? Norway is so delightful because it's GDP is incredibly high and it has a vast amount of social services. It's not due to the fact that the Church is part of its state.

This...really hasn't been the truth for many, many years.

Take a look at the trends for religion for the past 10 years throughout the entire world. You'll see that it's not CHristianity that's expanding.

Another right-winger who has no concept of "probability sampling" and how it's used to conduct polls.

When polls say that 70% of Americans are Christian, do you think every man, woman, and child was asked?!

Ireland, a Catholic nation, just voted to allow same-sex marriage, while in other religions it is prohibited, criminalized, or not recognized. That's just one example. I think people are not really aware of a Christian State and may think it's barbaric when in fact Norway and the UK are just few countries that are officially 'Christian State'

WW is right, this country was founded on religious freedom. and while the constitution can be amended, do you understand what it would take to amend the constitution? especially with such a contentious issue? read up my friend on how to amend the constitution, and then start to think about all the people that hate religion to begin with, and then add in all the others that are not christian, and you start to get an idea of how hard and how contentious this would be.

So...b simply repeating this over and over you believe that somehow it will be true? You don't understand statistics, and sampling in polls do you?

Christianity is the majority, however its falling-despite the historica levels of immigration in the past. Illegals don't have the right to vote.

Just because one is automatically signed up to a church at birth, does not a Christian make
35% of those in Norway do not believe in a god or simply don't know
Norway has about a 10 percent church attendance, the lowest in the world.

Big drop in those calling themselves Christians in America too. Now its at 71 percent.
The number of atheists is up.

How many people have you asked before making your otherwise unsupported by fact statements?
