I think the man was kind enough to make a kind offer and ask President Obama for his daughter hand in marriage. How many men even ask the dad to marry the daughter in America, let alone give the father-in-law anything for taking his precious daughter.
This is most likely as far as it goes, but can't blame a guy for trying.
Some how I can't see a young American woman going along with this, then again who knows: Mr Kiprono says he wants to propose to Malia in the tradition of the Kalenjin tribe - by tying a 'sacred' plant around her head and feeding her "mursik" or sour milk.
"I will propose to her on a popular hill in Bureti near my father's land where leaders and warriors are usually crowned," he told The Nairobian.
He said he would teach Malia "how to milk a cow, cook ugali and prepare mursik like any other Kalenjin woman."
It may be jealousy. Not everyone has daughters as attractive as the Obama girls.
Hopefully he doesn't have her chained to the stove. Don't know why he hates women...his mom was one! (I mean, probably, right?)
