Beautiful news. Does my heart good to see people that don't have that stupid Cold War mentality coming and going as they please.

Hopefully those numbers go up even higher in the upcoming months and years.

It's about time we let up on Cuba. The embargo has clearly not worked- it's been half a century! Are we waiting for Jesus to come back or something?

Opening up relations with Cuba is the best thing we can do for them and for us.

All that quaint architecture has come at a terrible price. If they want a goddamn Hooters, who the hell are you to say they're wrong?

I can't wait to go for a long weekend and have heard many others say the same.

Everyone except for a few elderly Cuban exiles (and Rubio, who might as well be elderly) are totally psyched about it. This train is about to leave the station.

It's their country, so I imagine they'll decide whether or not to allow a Hooters to be built.

The way I see it, people on that island have been through hell over the past century. And arguably several centuries. Hipsterish lamentations about chain restaurants should be the LEAST of their concerns.

Check your privilege, dude.
