Hillary's almost as funny as Biden.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hillary Clinton went down to Dixie this week and tried to pull off a faux Southern accent. Sweet Lord Almighty, folks – it was pitiful.
Miss Hill’ry was drawling and dropping “g’s” all over the stage during a speech to Democrats in South Carolina – the Palmetto State.
I was surprised Miss Hill’ry didn’t show up at her campaign rally in bare feet, waving a cast iron skillet and singing Dixie.
It's very hard to adopt a new accent, and such efforts should be appreciated.
People like to criticize other people's accents because it is an easy thing for them to do.
I find someone who tries to fake an accent to be rather condescending and insulting. When I heard HRC I wanted to hurl, it was so ridiculous.
It's normal for people to blend in and speak like those around them, as I'm sure Clinton did for 17 years living in Arkansas. So I'm not sure why anyone would think it odd that she slips into Southern mode when she goes back there.
It's condescending and insulting to those of us with real Southern accents. We know it's patronizing and a poor attempt at blending in.
No, just criticizing fake, put on accents to earn points (they wrongfully think).
Defend all things Obama,
Defend all things Clinton.
You're all in it together, lying and swearing to it.
Did you hear her? That wasn't southern mode. It wasn't even close. It was theater and poor theater at that. It was insulting.
That's all the Democrats know how to do is insult us poor plebes because we are utterly beneath them and not worthy of even shining their shoes.
