On this forum or in general?

I am talking about gays who believe the law should not treat them differently, but at the same time see through the nonsense that the so called progressives want. I am talking about this idea that being gay somehow means other people's property rights don't matter anymore, or that they should become a protected social class via hate speech laws. Or that the government should take a direct moral stance in the public education system instead of just privatizing the schools and then allow people to educate their kids in accordance to whatever morality they believe in.

Surely not every gay or minority is a part of the progressive collective?

Log Cabin Republicans
There is one group for you.
Nice to see there are groups of people not willing to burn their country to the ground over a single close to their heart issue.

Yes, there are several regular posters here that say they are gay, and also say they are conservative or libertarian. I have seen no inconsistencies in what they post that gives me reason to doubt them.

It's up to them whether or not they tell you who they are.

I helped try to get John Buckley elected to Senate this past year. Ask him what he thinks it means to be a gay Libertarian.

John Buckley on the Issues

A gay, pro-life all around nice guy Libertarian. I didn't discuss it much with him nor did he speak a lot about it but he seemed to take the position that he wanted nothing more than to be treated like anyone else and if you weren't interested in that he didn't need the government to take up for him.

Yeah sure, because who you prefer to have sex with determines your politics, just as blacks and Hispanics are genetically predisposed to vote democrat.

Libertarianism is indeed partially captured in the 10th, but is much more important to the 9th. The debates, the discussions and the writings that led to the 9th is as libertarian as our country ever got.

Your saying minorities in general aren't more likely to vote left because of all the lovely minority "rights" the left keeps offering them?

Gays come from the entire human spectrum... so what is the point of this question?

I'm not gay, but if I were, I'd be a libertarian leaning conservative.
