The peso is doing quite well actually.. thanks to NAFTA, and the amount of dollars still going to Mexico..

When mexicans start to return to mexico, because their money is more valuable, I'll worry..

Why would you worry... if the cheap labor mexicans start leaving, that will only help the USD.

The Canadian dollar has been rated on par with the USD.
The Yen is almost worth 1 cent.

XE.com - The World's Favorite Currency and Foreign Exchange Site will give you a taste of what the dollar is doing.
If you work in another economy and are paid in dollars (US military, etc), your bills are pretty high these day.

The greenback is still the world's most powerful currency. Two thirds of the total allocated foreign exchange reserves of countries have been in U.S. dollars over the past decade, making it somewhat easier for the United States to run higher trade deficits with greatly postponed economic impacts, that is unless countries who hold stockpiles of Us Dollars switch to say, the Euro. This is something that would have a huge consequence for the American economy.

GWB has mishandled the fiscal position of the US with enormous incompetence. Anyway, how do you figure that India has a more powerful currency than the US???

OPEC quit taking the USD two months ago and switched to the Euro as base currency. That says something.

I have heard speculations that leveling out of the USD is a step towards forming the Amero. Sounds silly but look it up.

Yeh, there has been speculation about this for over 3 years now. This marks a serious problem for the Dollar and the US economy.
