I've been watching lots of segments involving Bernie Sanders and I think he has hit the nail on the head on this one. Bernie never fails to mention that during the past 6-7 sevens, "95% of all new income generated went to the top 1." All the stats and graphs show that it's been a very bad time to be a middle class or poor American.

It's interesting how massive the wealth gap has been over the past few years, but it seems like you never hear Bernie (or many other Democrats, for that matter) criticize any of Obama's policies regarding this. I mean this guy is sitting in the White House and the leader of the party. Why does he always get a free pass when the issue of wealth and income equality comes up? Obama is supposed to be the figurehead for this type of stuff, but Dems act like he doesn't exist whenever this topic is discussed.

The female white house staffers are paid less than the male staffers, yet no mention of this from the feminists. Wonder why.

Which begs the question. .... if these are the "*job creators" as some people have said, then where are all the *good jobs?

(*Or did this sentiment always mean min wage jobs and the public was supposed to just infer this?)

Not really. Income inequality becomes an issue when the people in the labor market no longer have the income to buy the products being produced. This problem would be a lot worse already if not for credit cards and emerging global markets.

Indexed to inflation wages have been flat for going on 40 years. The stock holders and executives have fared far better than that because legislation has favored their side of the equation since the 70s and 80s,

Sounds hypocritical to me. The Republicans scream bloody murder evey time he tries to help the Middle class, and then scream bloody murder when he doesn't. Why did Mitt hide his money overseas. Why did he shuffle millions around in the Family to avoid taxes? Why have Republicans allowed all these Corporations to move work to China? Why do Republicans want to constantly de-regulate the Stock Market, Big Banks, Speculators? Why did Bush and Cheney give away almost all the Contracts in the Iraq War to their buddies, and not give others a chance to Bid on them? You could answer all of these question yourself. Just look at the Donors lists. And then people have the "Nerve" to say "Democrats" did it.

You say Obama is supposed to be the "Figurehead" of the Country, yet Republicans have spent the last 8 years trying to cut off his head. Hypocrites.

Obama gave the working poor and middle class tax cuts in his stimulus.

And Obama tried to give the middle class extra tax cuts, but the republicans stopped him.

Then Obama tried to raise billionaire CEO's tax rates to fair levels, but the republicans stopped him again (even though billionaire CEO's have lower tax rates than Americans who make $100,000 a year.)

The right waffles again and can't decide if Obama is ineffective or is a tyrant transforming the country into a commie-socialist paradise.

Why do liberals always dodge and delfect rather than answer the question? Seems hypocritial to me. This isn't about the Republicans it's about Obama. Afraid to actually answer the question like every other liberal Obama sycophant?
