Give me my money back plus compounded interest and I will. Gladly!

With means testing, you're not going to get a penny. I don't owe you anything. Make it state based and you can whine to your own state government. By the way, they are going to laugh at your 11.23% annual interest but that's not my problem.

Why should I have to pay for what I don't get?

By the way, buy me a $1,000 gourmet seafood dinner just because I exist. Thanks!

At your age, you must have learned by now that life isn't fair. I'm sure they can calculate how much you contributed, use some calculation on interest/inflation that applies to everyone, subtract what you have used, and come up with what is owed that can be given to you in the form of a voucher. Then end Medicare and everyone pay for themselves after that - no Obamacare, no Medicare. Everyone, including seniors, pay at market rates.

I haven't used anything. I won't even be eligible for Medicare for another 11 years.

Like I said, give me all my money plus compounded interest back and I'll fend for myself.

You'll get the same calculation everyone gets and good, you need to start figuring out how to pay for your own health coverage.

If there's a government program, make it state based and you can make your demands to your own state government. But health coverage should not be based on age, make it all or nothing.

I've already paid for MUCH more than I'll ever use. I want a refund. Would you overpay?

Do you have car insurance? Home insurance? Odds are you overpay for those as well. You seem awfully childish for someone who supposedly pays so much in taxes.

We can end Medicare and Obamacare and everyone can sink or swim. Survival of the fittest.

Not really. My premiums are based on my risk assessment, and are consequently very low. That's not true of Medicare.

All Medicare premiums are very low. Alllllll of them. Cry me a river. Think of it this way - we end Medicare this year, that saves you eleven years of those "exorbitant" Medicare premiums you think you pay. You get a little voucher to go toward some policy and you move forward with life.
